Safety, Verification & User Responsibility Notice
Last updated: August 26, 2026. MartinaMeet helps adults discover, communicate with, and potentially meet other adults. No online platform can guarantee another person’s identity, intentions, character, conduct, background, compatibility, or safety.
Adults Only
MartinaMeet is intended exclusively for adults age 18 or older. Anyone under 18 is prohibited from creating an account, using the Service, appearing in a profile, or communicating with members through MartinaMeet.
Member Information
Members are responsible for the accuracy of the information, photographs, statements, and other content they provide.
MartinaMeet may use automated systems, moderation, member reports, verification tools, or other reasonable measures to identify suspicious, fraudulent, abusive, or prohibited activity. These measures do not guarantee that every profile or statement is accurate.
Verification Does Not Mean “Safe”
MartinaMeet may offer certain verification features. A verification badge indicates only that the member successfully completed the specific verification process identified by that badge.
For example, a photo-verification badge may indicate that a submitted verification image was determined to correspond with profile photographs.
A verification badge does not represent or guarantee that a member:
- is safe to meet;
- has no criminal history;
- has disclosed accurate information in every respect;
- is trustworthy;
- will behave appropriately;
- is compatible with you;
- will honor an invitation or arrangement; or
- presents no risk.
Members should never rely solely on a verification badge when deciding whether to communicate with or meet another person.
Background Checks
Unless MartinaMeet expressly states otherwise for a specific member or service, MartinaMeet does not conduct mandatory criminal background checks on every member.
MartinaMeet may offer, obtain, or permit additional identity or background-verification services in the future. The existence or result of any such check should not replace your own judgment or reasonable precautions.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for deciding:
- whom you communicate with;
- what personal information you disclose;
- whether you choose to meet another member;
- where and when you meet;
- what transportation you use;
- whether you accept or send an invitation;
- whether you participate in any courtesy gesture; and
- whether further independent research is appropriate before meeting someone.
You should use reasonable judgment and conduct your own research before meeting another person.
Meeting Someone in Person
For an initial meeting, MartinaMeet strongly recommends that members:
- meet in a public place;
- tell a trusted friend or family member where they are going;
- maintain control of their own transportation;
- avoid revealing a home address prematurely;
- keep personal financial information private;
- keep their phone available and charged;
- remain aware of their surroundings;
- protect food and beverages;
- leave immediately if they feel uncomfortable; and
- report threatening, fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious behavior.
If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency or law-enforcement service.
Invitations and Courtesy Gestures
A MartinaMeet invitation is an expression of interest in meeting another adult. A courtesy gesture is an expression of appreciation connected only to an actual in-person social meeting.
MartinaMeet does not collect, process, hold, escrow, transfer, pay, guarantee, recover, settle, or enforce courtesy gestures. If the meeting does not take place, no courtesy gesture is due under the MartinaMeet courtesy-gesture concept. If two adults voluntarily meet, any agreed courtesy gesture is handled directly between them outside MartinaMeet and subject to applicable law.
A courtesy gesture does not purchase, require, or create any entitlement to:
- sexual activity or sexual companionship;
- physical intimacy or contact;
- affection or continued communication;
- entry into a private residence or hotel room;
- transportation, a relationship, or future meetings; or
- any other personal or sexual service.
Every participant remains free to decline, leave, or end a meeting or communication at any time. MartinaMeet strictly prohibits prostitution, escort services, compensated sexual activity, human trafficking, exploitation, sexual solicitation, and use of the Service to arrange or promote commercial sexual services.
Acceptance of an invitation does not constitute consent to sexual or physical activity of any kind. Consent must always be freely given, specific, mutual, and capable of being withdrawn. Read the No Sexual Services or Escorting policy.
Member Conduct
MartinaMeet does not control the behavior of members outside the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, members assume the ordinary risks inherent in communicating with and meeting people first encountered online.
MartinaMeet does not guarantee that another member will respond, attend a proposed meeting, behave in a particular manner, remain interested, be compatible with you, or provide any particular outcome.
Nothing in this Notice excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Credits, Courtesy Gestures, and Financial Safety
MartinaMeet Credits are platform-use credits. They are not cash, stored monetary value, a courtesy gesture, a member-to-member payment, or a means to purchase physical or sexual access. Courtesy gestures are separate and are not processed through MartinaMeet.
Never provide another member with your password, bank credentials, payment-card information, authentication codes, or other sensitive financial credentials.
Report members who request suspicious advance transfers, account access, investment funds, emergency money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or similar transfers.
Blocking and Reporting
Members should use MartinaMeet's Block and Report tools whenever another member behaves suspiciously, dishonestly, abusively, threateningly, fraudulently, or in violation of MartinaMeet policies.
MartinaMeet may investigate reports and may restrict, suspend, or remove accounts when appropriate. The ability to report a person does not mean MartinaMeet has independently verified every allegation or every member.
Personal Responsibility
Every adult member remains responsible for exercising their own judgment. MartinaMeet provides tools intended to support more thoughtful introductions. Those tools are not a substitute for common sense, independent judgment, personal precautions, or appropriate professional or law-enforcement assistance.
Use MartinaMeet thoughtfully. Meet publicly. Protect your information. Trust your judgment. Report behavior that concerns you.
